The largest annual event staged on Weston-super-Mare Sea Front, taking up 3/4 mile of the Beach Lawns at peak holiday season, HELiDAYS attracts all age groups from all walks of life and is not just a specialist "aviation enthusiast" event.

At 1200 LOCAL on Friday 23 July 2010 the United States Air Force will conduct an Aerial Refuelling Demonstration at the 20^th Anniversary “Helidays” event. A Lockheed MC-130P “Combat Shadow” tanker

aircraft and a Sikorsky HH-60G “Pavehawk” rescue helicopter will be involved.

The MC-130 will be provided by the 67^th Special Operations Squadron, 352^nd Special Operations Group, RAF Mildenhall and the HH-60 will be provided by the 56^th Rescue Squadron, 48^th Fighter Wing, RAF Lakenheath. Following the demonstration, the HH-60 will break off from the tanker and land on the beach lawns for the duration of the “Helidays” weekend.
